Emily Jacobson is the Correctional Services Librarian at New York Public Library. She manages satellite libraries on Rikers Island, including the recent creation of a permanent library space at the Rose M. Singer Center, as well as coordinates reference correspondence with people who are incarcerated across the country. She is also involved with The Uni Project, a portable reading room that travels around public spaces in New York City.
